We've seen some nasty storms across Rutherford, Cherokee, Polk and Spartanburg counties this afternoon, and we'll continue the threat of storms through about 8-9pm tonight. A cold front is making its way through, which will help our clearing trend begin!
Through this evening, the main threats with any storm will be heavy rain, gusty winds and lightning. Any strong storms should die after 8PM.
Wednesday will be very warm, but not like today. Instead of warm and humid, we'll be dealing with drier conditions and still very warm temp readings. It will be a drier heat if you will! We'll still have the threat of a couple pop-up storms through Thursday, but most of those should be confined to the blue ridge.
We'll steadily cool down as high pressure positions itself to our north. Therefore, we are still on track to see a gorgeous and comfortable Father's Day Weekend!
