GAFFNEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said three people were arrested after police discovered a meth lab and other drugs at a Gaffney home on Monday.

Cherokee County deputies said they were alerted that someone might be cooking meth at 370 Frye Rd. and when they went to investigate, they smelled what they believed was methamphetamine.

Deputies said when they arrived they saw a fire in the backyard and took two people into custody. While at the home, they said a woman drove up and gave them permission to search her car as well.

As they searched the home, deputies said they found a schedule IV pill, a component used to make methamphetamines. They said they found two baggies in the woman's car, one of which contained Scooby Snax and another that had synthetic marijuana.

The driver of the vehicle, 41-year-old Angela Horn, was charged with possession of Clonazapam, a schedule I drug. Jody White, 42, and Shelli Phipps, 37, were each charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of Clonazapam, a schedule IV drug.
