FOUNTAIN INN, SC (AP/FOX Carolina) -
One person was killed and another person was injured in an accident at a Fountain Inn construction site Thursday morning.
The accident happened at 11:08 a.m. near the intersection of Scuffletown and Jones Mill roads.
Greenville County Deputy Coroner Mike Ellis said 28-year-old Pedro Perez was pronounced dead at the scene. He said an autopsy was scheduled for Friday.
Ellis said the other man suffered injuries to his legs and abdomen.

FOX Carolina crews at the scene said one man was pulled out of a hole on a back board and was taken by ambulance to Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Ellis said the accident happened when a piece of equipment rolled into the ditch, that was about 16 feet deep and 12 feet across.
Jennifer DeWitt with the Greenville Water System said a crew was installing pipes when the accident occurred.
