ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
An Anderson County shop that restores antique cars has been hit by thieves, and deputies hope someone can identify a person of interest in the case.
Deputies said the Singer Road business had been hit several times in the last two years and most recently had $8,000 worth of auto parts, tools, and a maroon and white fork lift stolen.
On May 27, the business owner said he drove by about 4 p.m. to check the property and noticed the wire gate was taken down and items that had been locked down, were cut and taken, deputies said.
The last time the victim had been at the property was on May 25 about 8 a.m. The stolen items were located outside of the business's storage building.
The business had surveillance and deputies said the man caught on camera on Tuesday was considered a person of interest in their investigation.
Anyone who can identify the individual is asked to call the Anderson County Sheriff's Office at 864-260-4400 or CrimeStoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.
