
Some moisture is lingering in the mountains, which is helping to spark of scattered showers and t-storms this evening in western spots. This activity should diminish as night falls, then we'll have the threat of a few light showers late tonight as some moisture feed in from the east and northeast.
Friday will start with some clouds and light rain along the blue ridge, then clouds will break up and give way to sunshine and comfortably warm temps on Friday afternoon.
The weekend is looking generally dry, with temperatures slightly cooler than normal! The mountains could get a shower or storms late Sunday, but most spots will stay dry.
Many of you will probably be watching the college world series in Omaha! We could be looking at rain delays both Friday and SAturday (when the Gamecocks play Florida). There's a 60% chance of storms each day, and some of those could be severe.
