Nice Start to the Weekend! - FOX Carolina 21

First, please excuse my blog entry title from yesterday - I guess I was so brain-fried that I thought it was Tuesday! Luckily the weather is calming for the end of the week and weekend, so we've got nice and quiet weather to look forward to.
There have been more clouds and a few spotty showers out there this morning (mainly in the northern Upstate and southern part of our WNC territory)... but the clouds will decrease through lunchtime, giving way to brighter skies for the afternoon. The Upstate will stay dry under mostly sunny skies, while the Mountains will keep a few extra clouds around - and TN border areas may see a few light rain showers.
Highs today will be in the upper 70s/low 80s - which is a bit below-normal for this time of year. Humidity levels will stay lower, so it will be very comfortable to be out and about.
Sunshine and below-normal temperatures will stay with us through the weekend, as will the comfortable humidity. Much of the Father's Day weekend will be dry, but an isolated shower or storm could develop in WNC late on Sunday.
