Relay For Life donations stolen from doctor's office, police say

UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police said Relay For Life donations along with a cash box were stolen from a Union doctor's office.

Union police were called to Carolina Medical Associates on North Duncan Bypass on Thursday morning when the nurse found someone had broken into the office and had stolen money.

A locked, black cash box with more than $200 inside and a Relay For Life donation jar that had about $7 in cash were missing, police said.

The police report said the cleaning lady left about 9 p.m. Wednesday and officers believe the theft happened sometime after she left.

Anyone with information on this theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC.

Relay For Life donations stolen from doctor's office, police say
