WATERLOO, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Troopers said a man died Monday morning in a one-car crash 4.6 miles north of Waterloo.
The crash happened about 5:30 a.m., on Neely Ferry Road Secondary 54 in Laurens County.
The man was driving northbound when he drove off of the left side of the roadway and hit a tree, troopers said. They said the man was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
Laurens County Chief Deputy Coroner Vickie Cheek said Reginald Gray, 35, of Greenwood died of blunt force trauma to the chest in the crash.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
