We only have about 48 hours left of spring! And temperatures for tomorrow will be about normal for the last day of spring. Highs will range from 83-89 with increased humidity. By mid-late week, we'll have highs about 5 degrees above normal and well into the 90s in some spots!
Isolated storms will be possible, but don't count on getting soaked any of the 7 days in my forecast! There's about a 10-15% chance of a storm in the Upstate through the work week, and 20-30% for the mountains (so we'll stand a slightly getter chance in western NC and the northern Upstate).
It's this time of year when we all need to start becoming aware of how our body is responding to the heat! On Wednesday I'll be joining a teleconference about heat related illness, and will share some in-depth tips on staying safe in this summer heat! Just keep in mind, when you start to feel light headed or exhausted in the heat, you need to get cool IMMEDIATELY. Drink water constantly and take frequent breaks in the shade!
