HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Henderson County deputies said they arrested a man who stormed into a home Wednesday morning and robbed a family.

The robbery happened at 9:35 a.m. at a home on Ciccone Drive.

Deputies said that 24-year-old Eric Calderon walked through an open garage door, through an unlocked door of the home and confronted a mother and her children who were inside. They said Calderon demanded money and cell phones from the family and then fled with only their cell phones.

Investigators said Calderon was arrested about an hour later after deputies swarmed the area to look for him.

Calderon was charged with breaking and entering and common law robbery. He is being held in the county jail on $50,000 bond.
