FOX Carolina reporter drops 20lbs for summer series

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Six weeks ago, FOX Carolina's Greg Funderburg told you he had gained 40 pounds of the initial 70 pounds he lost in 2010 as part of Get Moving Monday's on FOX Carolina.

He said to lose the weight he had to re-teach himself the correct foods to eat and of course drink lots of water.

Funderburg admitted it was hard. He said work, dedication and his Ultra Fit Personal Trainer Brandon Daniels are what helped him lose 20 pounds over the past six weeks.

This week, he weighed in at 230 pounds and has 45 pounds left to reach his goal of 185 pounds. 

He hopes something he has said or done over the past six weeks inspired you to take your health serious.

As a part of his summer weight loss challenge, Funderburg met with other across the Upstate who have achieved personal health and fitness goals.

From preparing your kitchen for weight loss to joining others in a group-fitness class, Funderburg shared tips and inspiring stories to motivate other to achieve their own personal health goals.
