Police investigate a shooting and armed robbery in Spartanburg. (June 27, 2012/FOX Carolina)
SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Spartanburg Public Safety officers said one person was shot during an attempted robbery .
It happened about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on Peronneau Street.
Police said the robber showed a gun and demanded cash from the victim. Police said the victim was then shot in the hand.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Investigators have not made an arrest in this case. Police said the suspect was described as 5'10 and was last seen wearing dark colored clothing.
