Arrest made after man shot to death in Anderson

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson Police have made an arrest after a man was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon.

Jamal Brown, 24, has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Police said they were called to C Street where they said Kameron Morris, 21, had been shot, and he died a short time later.

Police detained several people a short distance away on Appleton Street following the shooting prior to Brown's arrest.

Brown will be arraigned in front of a judge Thursday morning.
