Police: Robbers target Burger King workers

TRAVELERS REST, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police in Travelers Rest are investigating an armed robbery at the Burger King on State Park Road.

Several employees were closing up about 2 a.m. Thursday when two masked men approached them in the parking lot, police said.

Employees said one man had what appeared to be a gun, according to investigators.

Police said the suspects left on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of money and they were looking at surveillance video from nearby businesses as their investigation continues.
