GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
For the 11th year, the nationwide bagel company Bruegger's Bagels is cooking up some very American bagels for this year's Independence Day.
Starting on Tuesday, July 3 and ending July 4, Bruegger's is selling bagels colored just like the American flag: red, white and blue.
They are turning their plain bagels into a swirl of the three colors, for the holiday, and they are also hosting a fundraiser for returning servicemen and women who were severely injured in war.
You can by Bruegger's Big Bagel Bundle, a baker's dozen of their bagels, and parts of the proceeds goes to help Homes For Our Troops, an organization that helps to build handicap-accessible homes for those heroes coming back from war.
