UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Union police said a finance store was robbed at gunpoint Monday afternoon.
The robbery happened about 2:30 p.m. at Hometown Finance at 116 W. Main St.
Police said man wearing shorts and a plaid shirt came into the store, locked the door and then forced two employees to open a safe. They said the man then forced the two women into a back room while he ransacked the office.
Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to the call the Union Public Safety Department at 864-429-1713.
