Deputies search for missing Anderson businessman

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson County deputies said they are searching for a businessman who went missing Sunday.

Deputies said 52-year-old Chandrakant Patel was last seen about 6 p.m. at his home on Lookover Drive in Anderson. They said his car was found abandoned Tuesday afternoon on Wooten Road in Fairplay.

Investigators said there are no signs of foul play in connection with Patel's disappearance, but they are concerned for his safety.

Anyone with information about Patel's whereabouts was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372).
