GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A Greenville woman was arrested Tuesday after deputies said she forged checks at several businesses.
Greenville County deputies said that between March 16 and June 26, 47-year-old Sandra Martin wrote checks on accounts without the account owner's knowledge at a restaurant, a repair shop and landscaping businesses, totaling $2,174.88.
Martin was charged with five counts of forgery. She was being held in the county jail.
Deputies said that Martin has charges of a similar nature pending in at least five other jurisdictions.
