WESTMINSTER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Oconee County deputies are investigating an apparent murder suicide in Westminster, that's left two people dead and another injured.

It happened on Odessa Drive in the Foxwood Hills community about 9 p.m. Saturday.

Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis said authorities initially got a call into 911 from a man saying he had shot his family.  Moments later, Addis said another call was made from a woman reporting that she and her daughter had been shot, and that her husband had shot himself.

Once authorities arrived on the scene, deputies said they found 34-year-old William Brian Tippett dead in the living room, and 11-year-old Riley Nicole Dyar Tippett dead in her bedroom.  Deputies said a third victim, the respective wife and mother of the victims, was also found in the home, still alive, suffering from gunshot injuries.

The woman was flown Greenville Memorial Hospital, and is recovering from her injuries, according to Addis.  Authorities have not yet released her identity.
