A Spartanburg man was sentenced to 20 years in prison Monday after admitting to selling marijuana.
Kendrick Gude, 28, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within a half-mile of a school or park, distribution of marijuana, distribution of marijuana within a half-mile of a school or park and two counts of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Prosecutors said that when he was arrested, Gude was found with more than 4,300 grams of marijuana, $1,500 in cash, digital scales and plastic baggies.
Gude previously had been convicted of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, two counts of unlawful carrying of a weapon and failure to stop for police, prosecutors said.
