SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Roads reopened and service was restored in Spartanburg Tuesday evening after a 14-inch pipe burst earlier in the day.
The break happened along Union Street between Henry Street and Alexander Avenue about 1:30 a.m.
While crews worked to repair the main, one northbound lane was closed along Union Street for several hours.
Just before 5 p.m., officials said that the break was repaired. They said that water service was restored after testing concluded the water was safe to use.
