ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Troopers said a driver died after he lost control of his truck and crashed into a row of trees in Anderson County.
The man was driving north on Lewis Street when he slammed into a row of trees about 9:50 p.m., troopers said.
The driver was wearing his seatbelt but died in the crash.
FOX Carolina spoke with a teenage witness who tried to help the driver, but he said there was not much he could do to help.
Troopers said the driver died on his way to the hospital and they are investigating the crash.
