GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Saluda County deputies said Tuesday a man who has been missing since June 28 may be headed to the Woodruff area.

Deputies said that 75-year-old Jerry Starnes, described as white, 5'7" tall and 165 pounds, was last seen in the 900 block of Old Chappell's Ferry Road.

Investigators said Starnes used to live in Woodruff and had recently mentioned to family members that he was thinking about leaving Saluda County. They said he most likely left on foot or hitchhiked.

Starnes has a medical condition, deputies said.

Anyone with information on Starnes' whereabouts was asked to call the Saluda County Sheriff's Office at 800-922-5026.
