RUTHERFORDTON, NC (FOX Carolina) -
A Rutherford County canine deputy found more than 21 grams of crack cocaine after they pulled over a driver Tuesday.
Deputies said they pulled over the Jeep along Highway 74 near Ellenboro-Henrietta Road and cited the driver because her license was revoked.
While speaking with the driver, Marilyn Collins of Cherokee, NC, deputies said the dog alerted to the smell of drugs, and a search uncovered 21.3 grams of crack cocaine and $128 cash inside the car.
Collins was arrested and charged with one count possession with intent manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance, one count maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $50,000.
