Greenville woman accused of killing husband

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Greenville woman was arrested Thursday morning after police said she stabbed her husband to death.

The stabbing happened about 1 a.m. at the Mulberry Court Apartments at 101 Mulberry St.

Greenville County Deputy Coroner Mike Ellis said that police arrived to find 51-year-old Eugene Blyther stabbed in the stomach. He said that Blyther was rushed to Greenville Memorial Hospital, where he later died.

According to arrest warrants, Blyther's wife, 49-year-old Teresa Blyther, was arrested in connection with his death. She was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

What prompted the stabbing was not immediately released.
