ABBEVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two people were arrested Wednesday after Abbeville County deputies said they stole items from a Calhoun Falls church in May.

Deputies said that on May 31 they were called to Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church on East Savannah Street.

According to an incident report, a sound system, silver bowl, silver serving trays and folding tables were stolen from the church.

On Wednesday, deputies arrested 25-year-old Brandon Jordan, of Greenwood, and 54-year-old Rhonda Kilgore, of Abbeville, in connection with the theft. Jordan was charged with grand larceny and two counts of petit larceny. Kilgore was charged three counts of grand larceny.

A spokesman for the church said Kilgore worked as a custodian for the church.
