Travelers Rest crash kills Greenville man, driver arrested

TRAVELERS REST, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers said the driver is behind bars after a Greenville man was killed in a one-car crash in Travelers Rest on Sunday morning.

Troopers said the car with two people inside were driving south on Tigerville Road when the vehicle ran off the road and flipped over about 3 a.m.

The coroner said 47-year-old Eddie Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. Davis was a passenger in the vehicle.

Troopers said the driver, Roy Warren, 56, was arrested and charged with felony driving under the influence. He is being held on a $25,000 bond at the Greenville County Detention Center.

The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
