Deputies said they are actively searching for a missing Rutherford County man who suffers from Alzheimer's.
Rutherford County deputies said they were using crews and search dogs to look for Dolly Twitty in the Union Mills area of the county.
Twitty's sister said she last saw him Monday night about 10 p.m. and when she stopped by Tuesday morning to check on him, he was missing, deputies said.
Deputies said Twitty takes medication for Alzheimer's but does not have it with him.
He was last seen wearing khaki pants, black shoes and a white V-neck T-shirt. He has black hair, is about 6' tall and weighs about 175 pounds.
Deputies ask anyone who knows where Twitty is asked to call 911.
