Deputies said they arrested the uncle of a man who was gunned down following a fight in Iva.
Anderson County deputies said a man was found shot to death near a baseball field along Ricketson Road on July 5.
Sheriff's Office spokesman Chad McBride said a large group of people was gathered at the location when the shooting happened, but scattered when deputies arrived.
McBride said 27-year-old Nathan Robinson of Iva was flown to AnMed Health for treatment, where he later died.
Investigators were able to follow leads that led them to the shooter.
Michael Groves, 44, was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Groves is currently in custody of the Anderson County Detention Center where he awaits a bond hearing.
