5 teens charged in rash of burglaries

HENDERSONVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Henderson County deputies said five teens were arrested Thursday in connection with a rash of burglaries.

Deputies said that a joint investigation between the sheriff's department and the police departments in Hendersonville and Fletcher led to the arrests of 17-year-old Camen Mitchell, of Fletcher; 29-year-old Joseph Matthew, of Horse Shoe; 18-year-old Tyler Galloway, of Hendersonville; 17-year-old Jacob Hudson, of Hendersonville and 18-year-old Lucas Christopher, of Horse Shoe.

All five teens were charged with conspiracy, breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods, conspiracy to obtain property by false pretense and safecracking.

Deputies said some of the property stolen during the break-ins was found as far away as Tennessee.

Investigators said they expect more arrests and more charges in connection with this case in the future.
