A judge denied bond for the four people accused of kidnapping and killing Anderson businessman Chandrakant "CJ" Patel.
Anderson County deputies said the new suspect along with the previous three have all been charged with murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, and possession of weapon during a violent crime.
On July 1, a missing persons report was filed with Anderson County Sheriff's Office after Patel's family couldn't find or contact him for several hours after he was last seen.
Four days later, deputies said surveillance video from a home on Jerry Drive in Homeland Park prompted them to arrest 22-year-old Kyndra Howell, 29-year-old Jeremiah Johnson and 17-year-old Zachary Gantt in connection with Patel's disappearance.
Investigators then upgraded the case to a homicide investigation after locating Patel's body July 11 in a wooded area off of Highway 29 South near the Hartwell Dam.
The fourth suspect in the case, 21-year-old Ezra Williams of Pendleton was arrested Monday.
All four people were being held in the county jail.
