SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said they have surveillance photos of a man who drove the getaway truck for a man who stole money from a Spartanburg CVS pharmacy.

Spartanburg County deputies said CVS pharmacy at 2397 Reidville Rd. was robbed about 9:45 p.m. Sunday when a man entered the store and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect never showed a weapon, but kept a hand in his back pocket, according to investigators.

Before leaving with the cash, the clerk told deputies the man apologized, saying, "times are tough."

Deputies said the suspect walked next door to the Sunoco station and got into a Ford pickup truck driven by another white male. Investigators said surveillance at the Sunoco shows the driver of the suspect's getaway truck.

The man was described as white, 25 to 30 years old, 6'2" tall, wearing a yellow, button-up shirt, long pants, a light-colored hat and a camouflage bandana over his face.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has any information about the robbery was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372).
