GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Greenville County deputies said they found a drug lab in a pharmacy Thursday afternoon.
At 4:22 p.m., someone saw a man acting strangely in a restroom at the Walgreens store at 2700 Wade Hampton Blvd. and called for help, deputies said.
According to arrest warrants, a plastic bottle with a substance inside tested positive as a substance used in methamphetamine production. The warrants said the bottle had been placed in a toilet in an effort to dispose of it.
Deputies said at no time was anyone in the store or surrounding area at risk of being exposed to the chemical used to make meth.
Deputies said the man found in the restroom, 37-year-old Christopher Scott, was charged with manufacturing of methamphetamine and disposal of methamphetamine waste.
