Anderson police said they have arrested one man and are looking for another after dozens of air conditioning units were damaged at an apartment complex Monday morning.
Police said Kenneth Ellis and another person stole metal from 70 units at Hanover Ridge Apartments on Dooley Street.
Investigators said it will cost about $2,500 to replace each of the units at the low-income apartment complex.
Ellis was arrested at the scene, police said. He was being held in jail on a $10,000 bond. The name of the second person believed to be involved in the case was not immediately released.
