SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A Greer man died after he was hit by a car while crossing a road Friday night.
The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office said that 69-year-old Gale Hussey was walking in a crosswalk on East Wade Hampton Boulevard near Tabs Flea Market when he was hit.
Hussey was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:25 p.m.
The Highway Patrol was investigating the crash.
