Interstate reopens after deadly Newberry County crash

NEWBERRY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Traffic on Interstate 26 in Newberry County was detoured for several hours after a deadly crash on Sunday.

Troopers said one person was killed in the crash in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 76. Eastbound lanes have since been reopened.

The victim's name has yet to be released.

The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
