ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -
Buncombe County deputies said they are looking for a person with a limp who robbed an Arden bank Tuesday morning.
The robbery happened about 10 a.m. at the United Community Bank at 2349 Hendersonville Rd.
Deputies said the person did not display a weapon, but got away with a sum of cash.
The person was described as black, between 30 and 40 years old, between 5' and 5'4" tall and 140 to 150 pounds. The person was wearing a tan jacket, black shirt, jeans, black shoes, dark hat, sunglasses and hosiery on her face.
Witnesses told investigators that the person had a raspy voice and smelled like cigarette smoke.
Deputies said the person got away in a red or burgundy car with a stolen Florida license plate number BEH-P74.
Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 828-250-5050.
