A man walking on a Spartanburg interstate Thursday afternoon was hit by a pickup truck.
The crash happened at 12:35 p.m. near the intersection of Business Interstate 85 and Interstate 26.
Troopers said that Justin Smith, of Spartanburg, was trying to cross Business 85 on foot when he was hit by a pickup truck in the southbound lane.
Smith was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, but the extent of his injuries were not known.
