New Oconee Co. plant to create 75 jobs

COLUMBIA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A new plant in Oconee County is expected to create 75 jobs during the next five years.

A.I.D. Company, a maker of aerospace components, announced Thursday it will locate its new $7 million facility to Westminster.

The company said it will begin hiring for the new positions in October.

The plant is expected to be operational by 2013.
