SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A Spartanburg man was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday after he admitted to robbing a bank in February.
Prosecutors said that 51-year-old Reginald Lyles pleaded guilty to bank robbery.
Investigators said that on Feb. 6, Lyles walked into the First Citizens Bank at 1894 E. Main St. and demanded money from the teller. They said Lyles was arrested after police spotted his vehicle minutes later.
In addition to the 20 years in prison, Lyles must serve five years of probation.
