TRAVELERS REST, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County coroner said a man died after a single-car crash in Travelers Rest on Sunday.

The coroner said just before 6 p.m., 79-year-old Bob Pace Jr. and a passenger were driving west on Mush Creek Road when his 1996 Oldsmobile SUV ran off the road.

Officials said Pace over-corrected, flipping the vehicle. Pace and the passenger were ejected from the vehicle.

The coroner said Pace was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger was taken to Greenville Memorial with injuries.

Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
