Brevard head-on crash kills NC woman

BREVARD, NC (FOX Carolina) -

The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal head-on collision near Brevard on Friday.

Troopers said 24-year-old Diamond Alexander, of Rosman, was killed after her vehicle crossed the center line on Highway 280 and hit another vehicle.

Alexander was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was airlifted to Mission Hospital.

Troopers said the crash is still under investigation.
