Greer woman dies after being hit by car

GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Greer woman died Tuesday after she was hit by a car during the weekend.

Investigator Teri Carter, of the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office, said 20-year-old Ielsin Fuentes was hit by a car on Center Street about 2 a.m. Sunday.

Carter said Fuentes died at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center early Tuesday morning.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol was investigating the crash.
