ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
An Anderson man was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a sport-utility vehicle Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened about 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of Dobbins Bridge Road and Meadowood Drive.
Troopers said the SUV turned left onto Dobbins Bridge Road from Meadowood Drive, hitting the motorcycle as it rounded a curve.
The motorcyclist, identified by the Anderson County Coroner's Office as 79-year-old Jack Glenn, was thrown from the bike and died. He was not wearing a helmet, troopers said.
The driver of the SUV was treated for injuries, but the passenger of the SUV was not injured.
