GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said they found three children and a bed-ridden elderly man inside a Landrum home where people were making meth.

Greenville County deputies said they got a call about a possible methamphetamine lab that led them to a home on S. Glassy Mountain Road Wednesday about 5 p.m.

When they arrived, deputies found the remains of the lab in the home. Narcotics officers were called to the home to clean up and investigate.

Deputies found kids living at the house ages 14, 20 months and 4 months. They said the children were home while methamphetamine was being made. They also said Raymond Brown Jr.'s elderly father, who was confined to a bed and unable to leave the residence, was inside.

The three children were taken into Emergency Protective Custody and are currently in the custody of the State of South Carolina, while the elderly man was taken to the hospital.

Deputies arrested three people in connection with the lab. They said they also found the meth had  been disposed of in the trash and along the road, which was shut down for several hours as officials cleaned and secured the area.

Brown, 18-year-old Chesnee Quinn and 33-year-old Timothy Frady were each charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, disposal of methamphetamine waste, abuse of a vulnerable adult, and three counts of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the presence of a minor child.
