Cash mob expected to hit Greer business

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The goal is simple, encourage people to support local businesses. The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce is once again sponsoring a cash mob at a local business.

Chamber members are planning to have a cash mob at Lady Bugs Gifts & Accessories on Wade Hampton Boulevard at 12:50 p.m. Thursday.

Members will meet at the store and spend at least $15.

Organizers said the program started in June as a way to benefit the local economy.

The businesses are chosen by a drawing.

Cash mob expected to hit Greer business
