SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police said they tracked two teenagers accused of breaking into a Spartanburg home Thursday morning using the iPad they allegedly stole.

Spartanburg Public Safety officers were called to a home on Coleman Hill Drive about 1:05 a.m., when the homeowner said someone broke into his home.

Police said the man said he woke up when his security alarm went off then found an open window and several things missing, including his iPad.

The victim told police that he had a GPS tracking app on it and could find it using his cell phone. Officers began tracking and found it in a vehicle parked at the Norris Ridge Apartments on Imperial Drive.

Inside the car were the two suspects along with the stolen items, police said. The report said they also stole two large, flat screen televisions, a large landscape painting, the man's briefcase and several silver mugs from a tea set, all valued at approximately $4,000.

Calvin Burnette, 19, and Devan Harper, 18, are being held in the Spartanburg County Detention Center on first-degree burglary charges.

Alexander Foster, 25, was arrested on a giving false information to police charge after police said he was with Burnette and Foster at the apartment complex.
