ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -
A joint effort by police and deputies landed 22 of 32 wanted suspects in a North Carolina jail Wednesday.
Asheville police said operation "Mountain Dawn" went down during early morning hours as 40 officers and Buncombe County deputies searched for 32 people with outstanding felony warrants and grand jury indictments following four months of investigation.

Police said the wanted men were wanted on various charges including robbery, kidnapping and selling illegal drugs.
Most of the arrests took place at Asheville public housing communities, police said.
Officers said they are still looking for 10 men and need help locating them. If anyone knows their whereabouts, they are asked to call the police department at 828-252-1110 or Crime Stoppers at 828-255-5050.
