GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two people are recovering after Greenville County deputies said they were shot during an armed robbery at a convenience store.

It happened at the Hot Spot at 5916 Augusta Rd. near White Horse Road about 3:15 a.m. Friday.

Deputies said the victims were customers at the store and are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.

Deputies said the robbers had their faces covered with bandanas or masks and were wearing all dark clothing. They said the men were between 5'7" and 5'9", weighed between 140 and 160 pounds, were in their early 20s, and they left the scene in a small gold or yellow car.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 864-23-CRIME.

The Hot Spot was closed following the shooting and has since reopened. This was not the first robbery at the Hot Spot. The most recent was in February and then four more times since 2009.
