SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Deputies said while trying to arrest a drunk woman, she rammed her truck into a patrol car, a neighbor's car and her father's mobile home Friday.
Spartanburg County deputies said they were called to a home on Safeway Avenue about 12:45 a.m. about a fight. When they got there, a woman told deputies her girlfriend beat her up. The report said the woman who was attacked had scratches on her arms and was intoxicated.
Deputies said they found the alleged attacker, 33-year-old Chrissy Greene, cursing at them from inside a pickup truck with her father trying to stop her from driving away.
A deputy tried to grab her keys so she couldn't leave, but the report said Greene became combative, slapping him away. Greene turned the truck on, put it into reverse, hitting the deputy's car and damaging a head light, according to the report.
The report said she then put the truck into drive, heading towards both deputies, who ran out of the way, then reversed and turned into a neighbor's car, damaging the driver's side door and fender.
Finally, deputies said Greene floored the truck again, running into her dad's house.
As deputies tried to get Greene out of the truck, they said she tried to roll the passenger window up on a deputy's arm. The report said they ultimately pepper-sprayed her to subdue her.
Greene's girlfriend, 32-year-old Tracy Arledge, refused to give a statement about the fight, the report said. Arledge was arrested and charged with public disorderly conduct.
Greene was arrested and charged with third-degree assault and battery, resisting arrest with assault, driving under the influence and two counts of malicious injury to personal property between $2,000 and $10,000.
